Staff were good, great views from the bar on top floor, the room was nice and comfy only issues I had was the air con in the room was terrible I had it set on high and made no change I had no windows to open and also the food was not great but just about passable. There only minor problems which is the reason for 4 star.
Good place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed for 3 nights. On the last night they did struggle with the coach party who took up all the restaurant and sky bar had one member of staff who was getting tables ready. Then to be told no draft beer or glasses. The poor girl was left on her own. Management need to employ more staff at busy times.

Nice clean modern premier Inn which is situated behind the beefeater and share a car park. Our room was comfortable and adequate but slightly small with no room for an easy chair, which would of been nice. The beefeater having seen it in the daylight is an old building but nicely furnished and decorated inside. Breakfast was plentiful with plenty of staff to replenish cereals etc. Great position to explore cannock chase.
Looks recently refurbished, the staff were really nice and welcoming. They had provided a huge fan in the family room. The famy rooms are in a shhhh area, we didn't hear anybody else. The beefeater across the car park served lovely food and drink, you can get an all you can eat and drink breakfast for less than £10 per adult and children eat free. I would say it is essential to have a car, the exit from the car park is almost on a busy roundabout. We used the car when only going across this roundabout, otherwise I wouldn't be here to write this review. We booked early and got a much cheaper rate.

Stayed here with my husband on our wedding night, nice hotel but we had to wait quite a while at the desk when we got there as they'd lost the room key. The hotel is on the A5 but don't be put off as it's back off the road so you can't really hear the passing traffic. The honeymoon suite is a nice big room complete with two bathrooms- one a shower room and one a large corner bath- loads of room and a four poster bed. The only negatives was that the decor is seriously in need of an update as it's very old-fashioned, also my husband had to go back downstairs to get a couple of bottles of water and was sent to the bar to get it so had to pay £3.85 per bottle- not very good really considering it was our wedding night. We had the cooked breakfast in the morning which was lovely, coffee, tea and juices as well as toast on a buffet table then you just choose the breakfast items you want at the bar. Would stay here again but maybe consider redecorating & put a couple of cheap bottles of spring water in the honeymoon suite.
Highly recommended.. 3 course Sunday carvery.. fresh not frozen produce.. Lovely friendly waiting staff.. fast and efficient.. Wish I had taken my phone to take pictures.. £10 well worth spending..

We stopped here just off the motorway to catch the england semi final game. Food was acceptable, I enjoyed my curry which is a speciality. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Best curry I have had, very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. 5 stars all the way

The best Sunday lunch, had out for a long time. The beef tasted like beef and the gravy had plenty of flavour. A warm and friendly welcome with attentive staff. The menu had sufficient variety for everyone in our group.
Great place and great food. We had about 45 minute wait between finishing our starters and our mains arriving, and it was more expensive than I expected, but I'll definitely be back and would recommend.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
